Had the pre theatre menu and was very happy with what we got. Having the courses off the al la carte wouldn't have been worth the extra money. Recommend to all. Fast, friendly staff too

Now this is the place for seafood in London. Just class. Great decor in a fantastic nabe in London. If you want to impress a client this is the place. The Dover Sole is to die for get it Meunire style. The only place you can get it that might be better is in the Dorchester Hotel. Nice wine list we got a great bottle of Brunello. Scallops, on the shell, are also good and the chips go nicely with the fish. One critique is that I think they use a lot of butter in the cooking but hey so would I cuz it's delish. I've been a few times now and this is a restaurant sure to Feature in my rotation for any future London visits.

We are locals and we're regulars a few years back and loved this place for the attentive service and great food. There was a grown up kids menu and drawing materials to keep the kids entertained. My daughter shut her finger in the door and was scared to come back then Belanger opened and we go there now. However yesterday we returned for a spontaneous treat and sadly found the place had changed - its really unfriendly for kids. Food is still good though risotto a bit mushy. No kids menu. Super slow service and staff not understanding about kids at all ("can we have a fresh napkin please? But I just gave you one!") No colouring materials. We will not be going back and will warn our friends too.
