F.K.A.B.A.M. (Formerly Known as Black Axe Mangal)

Great food with a very unique dining experience. They serve a single set menu (with a vegetarian version available)and each course was delicious. I liked the music (Queens of the Stone Age and Def Leppard were playing while we were there) and the decor was more like a night club than a fine dining restaurant. They were able to accommodate us at the bar without a reservation on a Friday for an early dinner which was appreciated!

I cancelled my table due to a cold but was charged 40 for cancelling 23.5 hours in advance instead of 26 hours (which is apparently in the small print). I couldnt rebook as the table had been taken by the time I was charged - they say this charge was non-refundable in the interest of fairness to others. I understand the loss restaurants face from people not showing up, and charging me on a rigid technicality despite re-booking the table may be within their right - but it doesnt feel like great customer service from a high-end restaurant.
