Owners - stay away at all cost. I would rather have a reliable and responsive management company, paying more, or waiting a longer time to get it rented out, then using this company.
I think the 3 stars they get is for renting and letting, but not for managing a property, because they are really bad at it.
For the past 4 years, I haven't got a single check in or check out report (there were 3 different tenants, and none renew the lease.). it is a way for them to make money as every new tenants they will charge us numerous fees.
I haven't received my EICR, ECP report, although I have paid for it to be done.
Whenever I chased them, they would just say they will send it tomorrow, but the tomorrow never comes.
I suspect that they have just taken the money and haven't done any check-in / check-out, or any of the reports.
They also made a big mess on the account, and charge me more than it should.
They also charge the one year management fee upfront, not like common practice where they charge when the tenant pays every month.
It is the lousiest and unhonest letting/ management company I have used.
Update: Not the end of all issues. I now got a debt collection company chasing me for 1800 pounds of outstanding payment on water heating and heating bills that went back to 2019. And the fault? The management company was supposed to fill out a form to change the bills to the tenant and they never did. The invoices never got to me. I assume they got the bills but just ignored them without telling me. And the worst part is they said they return the deposit to the tenant and so there are no money left to recover from the bill. But I never sign / agree to any deposit being return. They are the worst company ever.
