Beijing Spring

Turned up to pick up my order at the specified time, it hadnt even been started and had to wait 30 minutes. Unprofessional. They have their children behind the counter and serving/answering the phonenot to mention the teenage daughter is extremely rude to customers. Son is coughing behind the counter without covering his mouth. An absolute shambles

Food poisoning! Sharing this review while sitting on the toilet to warn future customers. This is the first time ordering from this place. I ordered a simple sweet & sour chicken Beijing style with rice. This was ordered around 10.30pm so it would have been one of their last orders. But thats no excuse. Im always careful when eating at restaurants or ordering takeaways, usually checking reviews and ratings and always making sure I wash my hands thoroughly before handling food. My kitchen cutlery washed properly etc. so it definitely was not that. Within just a few hours of sleeping, I woke up and nearly didnt make it to the toilet. The food had gone right through me. Prior to this meal, I had not eaten in over 10 hours. Ive had food poisoning before and this is it! Ive checked to see that there have been reports of food poisoning by other customers. A hygiene rating of 3 out of 5 I should have known. I will not be ordering from here again. Ill be honest, if I was physically able to provide a stool sample to my GP, I would. I may report this anyway, in order to prevent other people from being ill like I am. Will be spending the next 24 hours in the toilet while sipping water slowly.
