Tots Play Bexley - Baby and Toddler Classes

What can I say?! An amazing group. The teachers are both fab. Our teacher was Beth and she is brilliant, so kind and understanding and so very engaging with the babies. It was our last group today as I return to work next week. I have to say Luna and I have thoroughly enjoyed our time and are so disappointed that it's now come to an end. Thank you so much for looking after us!

Fantastic classes, a great mixture of baby massage, yoga, signing and sensory play. Ive made some lovely mama friends there and Nici and Beth are so great with the little ones - both my sons love it!!

I started bring my son who was 13 months at the time to social tots last September. It was the first baby/toddler group I'd taken him too. Until then due to various covid 19 lockdowns we hadn't been out and about much and I didn't have any friends or family with young babies so it meant it hadn't had the opportunity to socialise with other children. The first class he spent most of his time on my lap until the last 5 mins, the second class he was off crawling/assisted hand holding walking after just a few mins and by the third he was relaxed and happy interacting from the start. Beth who runs our group is so friendly and welcoming which helps the adults relax too. Since then we have been to weekly classes for a year now including "specials" in holidays that Nici (who is also lovely) often runs out of term time. He loves it and now sings the regular songs and does the sign language at home. It has been lovely watching him grow and develop from not yet walking to now running in and out during the okie coki or turning round and round with the wheels on the bus! He has made friends and so have I and we now met outside the group too at parks, soft play and the other day for the first time my son had two friends over to play at our house (who are from his social tots group) It has given him and me the confidence to also join other groups too since. However, we still love the friendly and relaxed atmosphere of social tots where each week there are regular songs etc that help build confidence through routine then there is different theme each week that they get free play time to move around the hall to explore. My son has now just turned 2 so older than some at the group but it nice to have slightly different ages mixing and interacting as they learn from each other so we have booked and are looking forward to this September term. Really fabulous baby development course with Beth in Bexley village. We had a great time learning lots of new things, and meeting other lovely local people! The baby massage was really nice to learn, and something we've integrated into our routine, and the course was relaxed, fun and interactive. I enormously recommend and we'll be back for the next course!

Lovely class to attend as a first time mum. Loved the variety every week and Beth was really knowledgeable. A comfortable environment to meet other mums and bring a young baby out for the first time. Would definitely recommend!
