My wife suggested I tried acupuncture, for migraines and stress.... I have to say I was doubtful after nearly 20 years of migraines, how wrong I was !! general well being, energy all improved and migraines nearly all gone ... amazing !

I went to Shona while recovering from an operation and and am pleased to say that my energy levels are vastly improved as a result. Shona is very professional while at the same time being very kind, gentle and easy to talk to. I believe my recovery has gone better with Shonas help. I started treatment with Shona as I was experiencing chronic migraines and daily headaches for a period of seven months, following a bad reaction to the Covid vaccine. I had tried all types of medication and it was completely debilitating. I could not recommend Shona enough for anybody considering acupuncture. After only three sessions I experienced great improvement with my headaches and the frequency of my migraines is now far more manageable, it has really allowed me to get my life back. I have also experienced a reduction in anxiety since attending these treatments. Her approach to treatment is impeccable and her holistic approach really made me feel as though we were considering all options and looking into the effects on my general wellbeing, as well as specifically targeting the headaches. Shona was very accommodating to the fact that I work long hours and she has stayed late at the clinic so that I have been able to have an evening appointment when needed. Her warm and friendly approach really made the whole experience extremely comfortable and I felt like I could ask as many questions as I needed to. I feel passionately about this positive review as my treatment with Shona has really improved my quality of life and she herself is a lovely person which made me feel at ease with the whole process. Incredible I visited Shona, as Id recently started to experience quite strong hot flushes, I was having at 4-5 a day and then waking up at night several times. Searching the internet I read that acupuncture could help in about 50% women, so I thought it was worth a shot. Am I glad I did!! Shona has literally worked miracles! After my second session the flushes have gone, utterly and completely disappeared. Not knowing anything about acupuncture other than it involved needles, I was gobsmacked that it could have such an effect. Add to that afterwards I felt lighter, centred, with a sense of calm and energised all at the same time. Im now going to have regular sessions focusing on relieving stress and energy levels. Im so glad I found Shona, shes easy to talk to, explains acupuncture simply and I cant recommend her highly enough.
