This is a gorgeous no frills village pub, and by that, I mean wooden floors, wooden tables and wooden chairs. The staff were very welcoming and the food was delicious; my wife had the ploughman's and I had the chicken linguine. We shared the sticky toffee dessert which was simply to die for and plenty for us to share. This was a lunchtime visit and was probably slightly more expensive than other places, however well worth it. We would definitely recommend and will return. I have only given 4 stars for the location simply because it is in a small village out in the sticks.
