Glenmore House

Held our wedding here a few weeks ago and it was the best decision we ever made. Stunning rooms, chilled out atmosphere and great food and drink, meant we and our guests had a great time. Many thanks to Faye for all your help and advice. xx

Our wedding was postponed from 2 years ago due to covid, Faye was amazing when we first ever viewed glenmore house 3 years ago and she seemed to be extremely helpful at that time, there were also amazing reviews so we hadnt questioned anything until a few weeks before the actual wedding it seemed really really hard to get hold of anyone to answer questions we had and on the actual day it was just a mess! My guests where literally given any food that was coming out that kitchen and the plates were dumped in front of them (a get what your given kind of service) I had given a really detailed plan of a seating plan even a sketch of where people were sitting, but it all went so horribly wrong. one of the tables had 2 extra mains on, but none of the staff cared that my guests were telling them this is not their food and even the top Table out of anyones table, it was all wrong. As my dad was giving a speech the microphone cut out 4 times due to low battery and no one was around to help, 2 of my guests were running around trying to find staff to sort the microphone out while my dad was standing there feeling nervous trying to give the best speech for us. And for the turning around of the room for the dancing to take place, it again was completely unorganised and no one around, chairs were sat in the middle of the room for so long to the point that me and my now husband were going to move the chairs ourselves. The saxophonist started over an hour later than planned due to this unorganised mess. I had really high hopes of this venue but I would definitely not recommend it to anyone even for the price, I feel the management clearly has no love for their job role anymore.

Excellent night out in great company. Food, atmosphere and experience always 5 star at Glenmore House!!
