Churchill Medical Centre (Surbiton)

Doctors and reception staff are nice and professional. Unfortunately this is a branch of the Churchill Medical Centre which is poor and inefficient. Getting a doctor's appointment is a slow and painful process. The admin team decides whether you should see a doctor or not and will make anything possible to avoid using their resources. NHS stands for National Health Service and it seems that Churchill Medical Centre is more interested in making profit than providing an honest service to patients.

When I first joined the surgery I was unimpressed as my repeat prescriptions were messed up multiple times, BUT, since then the surgery has been amazing. I get appointments rapidly when I need them: I put in a request yesterday afternoon for an appointment and the reception staff called me at 7:30 this morning to give me an appointment at 9:30. I was given 20 minutes with the doctor for a proper examination and given a sensible treatment plan. At a time when we only hear bad things about the NHS, these guys are great.

Personally love this Surgery. To get an appointment you go through an online triage- its very efficient and I am always contacted promptly and provided with an appointment following the triage. When it comes to having the appointment, I feel extremely listened to by the doctors/nurses, they are extremely thorough in their diagnosis and consult others to ensure the best outcome for the patient. A big thank you to all the team across Surbiton and Kingston :)
