Owl House Stables

I booked an assessment lesson at Owl House following a nasty fall at a different stables three years ago which completely destroyed my confidence. Lisa is simply amazing! She took the time to discuss how I was feeling and ensuring I was comfortable and happy with what we were doing at all times. She clearly understands both rider and horse psychology, and is caring and empathetic whilst at the same time being positive and upbeat. Missy is a superstar, taking everything in her stride. She is clearly well schooled, fit and strong enabling her to stay balanced even when I wasn't, and loves her job. I cantered and even popped a small jump with a big smile on my face, and felt like a completely different rider by the end of the session. Both Missy and Lisa are a credit to Owl House. I can't thank you both enough, and can't wait to come again!

Were good for lessons. My daughters confidence improved. However, they are quite painful to work with - unpleasant on the phone. A few characters that let them down.

The owl house team are exceptional, always friendly and happy to help. The horses are all fabulous and very well looked after. They know their job and can look after the tiny tots and more novice riders then step up for more experienced riders. The variety of lessons, hacking and additional opportunities is fantastic. They cater for all ages and abilities. This isnt just a riding school, its a community that helps and supports each other and loves to see everyone improve and do well. I cant recommend this stables enough.

I have been riding at Owl House for over 10 years and keep my horse here on livery. I couldnt honestly think of anywhere else Id rather keep him. Not only are the facilities excellent, but the staff are dedicated and love the horses. There is an excellent range of horses on offer: from safe and steady for the beginner, to school masters for those looking to move up the levels. Lessons are top quality, hacking is beautiful and mostly off road, and the range of events and training sessions mean there is something on offer for everyone.

My daughter has a pony on loan at The Owl House stables. She absolutely loves it there. The staff truly care about the ponies and horses and the children are all so supportive of each other. They have so many activities to participate in throughout the school holidays which the children all enjoy. My daughter wouldn't want to be anywhere else!
