When enquiring about a MRI I was quite rudely told they can't afford a MRI scanner as they are a charity, so go and find a specialist somewhere else. Maybe, you could afford an MRI scanner if Chris Sherwood, the CEO of RSPCA donated some of his 150,000 earnings he takes from the charity each year! Disgusting

Turned away at the door by a surly receptionist who barked at us telling us that the entire centre is now shut to the public and we can only see animals online. What kind of animal charity prevents you from seeing the animals? Arrived with the express intention of considering adoption of a cat, and left with the express intention of buying from a breeder. Jobsworth at the desk blamed "covid", in 2023. Several sneering pensions looked in with seeming elation. No clear note on the website to say the centre is no longer accessible to the public. Used to be able to see all the animals - when I queried this with the gatekeeper she was most unhappy that my memory stretched back further than her tenue. She had the power after all. Disgraceful and typical corporate charity. Not about the animals, all about power and policy.

I visited there this morning to collect some ratty boys who needed a new home. Everyone was so lovely, and the boys we adopting look as if they have been very well cared for. The correspondence and adoption process was also handled both professionally and quickly, we were really impressed with everything that they do.
