What a strange experience! Walked out with wet hair in the end. Scheduled a blow dry. Red flag 1 - price changed upon arrival. Red flag 2 - use of cheap LOral shampoos. Red flag 3 - hairdresser didnt know what a balayage was. Red flag 4 - hair was not being blow dried without a nozzle. Thus, hair was not being blow dried to shape. Red flag 5 - asked for a bouncy curl blow dry - he said it was not possible with my type of hair haha. Red flag 6 - very rude man. Run away from this place. This isnt a hairdressers.

The guys at John Hardings salon have been fantastic! I have had my hair cut, dyed and styled here by John and Fiona Harding and they have been brilliant, I have always left the salon extremely happy with the service. Was not the agreed price or cut discussed, which to be fair is hard over the phone. Spoke with Fiona but was an older guy who did the cut and colour. Its been a month since I went, the colour correct I went for had faded to give roots I was trying to avoid and the blunt cut hangs in a very unflattering way. Ive never been so consistently disappointed with my haircut, every time I see myself in the mirror I think my hair looks rubbish which is what I spent 100 to try to avoid. Think maybe the salon is just a bit dated, perhaps it was really great in the 80s. Maybe good for standard male haircuts.
