The perfect Christmas break! The attention to detail, location and the hot tub were all amazing. We didnt want to leave :)

Absolutely fantastic place, by far the best cabin weve ever stayed at! Upon arrival late on a Friday evening our water pipe was frozen which was no surprise seeing as it was -7 degrees, within five minutes of ringing Rosie she was outside along with her husband and young boy and had our water up and running, if it had been a larger company wed have probably been waiting hours, especially at that time of night! Inside we were greeted by mince pies, fresh milk, scones with clotted cream and jam, spotlessly clean towels and biscuits as well! The underfloor heating and towel rail was an absolute god send, the decor inside was lovely especially with a few nice Christmas touches but not OTT, we genuinely couldnt get over how spotlessly clean the place was especially considering its dog friendly as well! The smart tv was great to pop a film on, the shower was nice and powerful and the hot water instant as well. Theres clearly been no expense spared when kitting the place out and we will never stay anywhere else when we return to the Lakes now! 110% recommend! Thanks for a lovely weekend!

What an amazing weekend we had here, we stayed in blencathra Shepherds hut, the views were amazing, and after climbing blencathra the hot tub was a must for our aching muscles, I would definitely recommend mire house to all my friends/family, so peaceful we will definitely be back x
