Veggie Pret

Great place to grab a hot drink and go upstairs to sit on the terrace. Always clean and staff are friendly. Loads of great veggie choices I highly recommend going there. Great lunch choices and dessert options.

Mohammed (I hope I spelt his name correctly) served me earlier this afternoon. Despite the store being a little busy, he was still very friendly and had excellent customer service skills - it was a pleasure to be served by him

Excellent Pret serving veggie food. Staff are helpful and friendly. Inside is comfortable but outside can be chilly owing to the wind which travels through the shopping centre. Brilliant baristas who really know how to make a good Flat White. One of the best in town.

Interesting veggie box meals. Nice lunch alternatives on offer. There is limited seating outside the shop but walk around - you'll find more seating elsewhere and on the rooftop terrace, via escalator. Would love more brown rice-based items. Pret HQ, over to you!

I arrived to collect a good to go bag which my girlfriend ordered on her app. I showed a staff member the code and she bagged the order. She then requested I needed to swipe the app. When I explained I was collecting it for my girlfriend, she said I can't have it. I asked if I can't collect it, will my girlfriend get a refund and she just said 'Don't know'. I tried to communicate with the staff to resolve this situation but I was continually shut down, with them all completely unwilling to help me. Surely checking the code would be proof? But they showed no interest in checking the code. So the code is meaningless. Also, the order was the last available order of the day, so again, surely they can see this is legitimate and not somebody randomly trying to collect a bag? I left the store when each member of staff (but especially the lady with tied up hair and glasses) barraged me with their dismissivness, making me feel like an irrational problem customer. The order is listed as collected on my girlfriend's app, meaning she's unlikely to get any refund for this. I was inconvenienced with the wasting of my time, the embarassment caused from the staff's unwillingness to communicate with me, and requiring to go somewhere else for my lunch. This was an appaling handling of an incredibly minor situation. The staff have zero empathy or consideration for the experience of customers which I'd already observed from the glasses lady's behaviour with the customer in front of me. I have lost all interest in ever visiting that store again and would suggest others avoid them as well.
