Dropped in unexpectedly in the middle of a long walk around busy streets so was pleased to find this pleasant pub with reasonable beer and food. Barman was helpful: cleared the table we wanted immediately and the food arrived very quickly. Husband had sirloin steak ciabatta which was tasty and succulent, my cheese toastie came in good sourdough slices and was fine. Just the refreshment we needed and a very reasonable price with good service and atmosphere. Could have stayed for more beers but unfortunately had to get going.
