Nothing to write home about but certainly an interesting and different Italian menu. Lamb or chicken for meat eaters. Chicken Milanaise turned out to be ... well a bit disappointing. Desserts were ace ... but they'd ran out of polenta lemon cake by 9.00pm on a Saturday night. Service was indifferent to the point of 'ah well' just another punter. Thinking about it, I'd have to say it was poor. Would I go again? On tonight's experience... sorry, but no.

Vegetarian options: I love this place and normally cant complain about the food or service but was a little disappointed with my recent experience. I had a 3 course vegetarian lunch. The starter and main were great but the dessert - a large slab of frozen chocolate was not good at all. I left most of it despite being a chocolate lover. For me it lacked sophistication -and taste. I gave my feedback and expected some recognition of my comments but after being made to wait ages for the bill the dessert remained firmly on it. I appreciate the high standards of service from Murano cafe as the staff is normally very proactive and eager to please. I hope this was a one off lapse.
