We booked the hotel for an overnight layover, and while the hotel is beautiful and historical and within walking distance to everything, we were let down by a few things. First, there arent many outlets to charge devices. There werent any by the bed, which is inconvenient. Of the two we found at the desk, only one was working. Second, for this caliber of hotel, the bathroom was subpar. The bathroom was nice, however, there was mold on the grout in the shower and at around the shower door hinge fixtures. It was disappointing. Other than that, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and the lobby smelled divine. Walkability: Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, the British Museum and Trafalgar Square are all within a short (5 -10 min) walking distance.
