Went there a week ago to get a new haircut, showed reference photos, (long layered wolf cut) and she did my hair beautifully, the staff were all lovely and I love my new hair, definetly a hidden gem in chinatown

Walked in for wash and dry because I was having a difficult time washing my long thick hair at my airbnb. The salon is the typical salon that my grandparents would visit. Would only recommend the main stylist. Pros: - No wait time - Price is significantly less than other salons (18). The main issue I had was with the assistant who is probably in her 70s and who I don't believe has had any formal training. Naturally as you age you lose dexterity. The wash was poor, did not feel like she cleaned the deeper layers. The water rinse went everywhere, all over my face. She did not dry my hair properly before sitting me up from the washing bowl causing a good amount of water from my hair to drip down my back. For the blow drying portion my hair was not sectioned, kept pulling through my knotted hair with a large brush but did not dry to the ends. At one point she hit me in the head with the hair dryer. When she said it was done my hair was still wet. The main stylist/owner noticed and came over to dry my hair properly.
