Facilities were really dirty. Changing room smelt like wet dog, lockers not working, swimming pool and sauna both super run down and the entire gym looks like it needs a lick of paint.

This "health" club has gone downhill to the point of just being right at the bottom. The mouldy back stair case leading up to the changing rooms is only the tip of the iceberg. Facilities are so filthy there's even tiny black worms all over the steam room (the management team walking in constantly doing "health and safety checks" wearing no overshoe bags, that they have available by the pool entrance, doesn't help this I'm sure), the sauna stench is overwhelming, and there's green moss/mould growing in the empty closed off spa, just revolting. I have made a complaint and nothing (not surprisingly) has been done. Things constantly break down and take ages to be patched up, only to be broken again soon after they've been poorly fixed, loose tiles, broken showers, broken swimsuit dryers, lockers, the list goes on. To top it all off the spa was closed on an off in July, August and September last year due to a "chemical imbalance" (not a week went by without it being closed) and as we were "waiting for the new engineer to fix the new part" they decided to close the whole thing from October for the winter months "to save energy". Basically they lied to all of us (other clubs were telling members in the build up that their spas were also waiting for "new parts", etc) while they made the decision to close them when they were the main reason most members (me included) decided to join in the first place! Completely lost our trust. The spas are now closed permanently (don't be fooled by their Google profile photos) AND membership fees have recently gone up, you really could not make this up! I wouldn't be shocked if they start asking members to clean the toilets after using them "because of the cost of living crisis you know". What a disgrace Nuffield gyms are now, so much potential and they used to be so good.

I am member of Nuffield gym in South Wales and enquired about using this gym while working in London. The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful and when I visited the state of the gym is a disgrace considering its twice the price and half the size of my home Nuffield gym. Terrible waste of money at an extra 7.50 each visit, considering I am a member already.

Desperately needs some investment and a make over. Its quite grotty. Shame really; could be a great place in a great location.
