An absolutely appalling, frustrating and time consuming experience. They want me to submit an annual report and accounts yet they only allow highly restrictive means of doing so and if you are unable to submit online then you receive harassing emails. Just give people the option to submit to a given postal address or allow a much simpler way of submitting online. Not everyone has the high technical ability and computer literate knowledge of the impersonal techies who run this unfriendly website.

Had very helpful phonecall with CC about an accounts enquiry. Tracy was really kind and thorough.

They have been helpful. I did my CIO application myself and got approved after 4 days. I called them days after as i wanted to amend the governing body and they were helpful again.

Incredibly difficult to find a correct postal address for submitting annual charities accounts. Is it Petty France? Or is it in Bootle? The very clever people at the Commission and Gov.UK have forgotten the very important fact that people STILL HAVE TO USE THE POSTAL SYSTEM OCCASIONALLY! Perhaps a sign that too many younger people are running things with no experience of the practicalities of life....

Absolutely useless. They are supposed to be regulatory body and they are totally clueless. If you have a concern about a charity and call to request some more information , they literally can only tell you that until the following annual accounts are received, they don't know anything - and don't want to know either-. Appalling.
