Beyond pleased with how nice the staff were during our visit for passport renewal. They were not only courteous but beyond helpful. As long as you equip yourself with all the requirements, it wouldn't even take more than 30 minutes from payment to processing (biometrics). Passport arrived earlier than expected - just within 3 weeks!

We all have different experiences. It's been more than 10 yrs since I last visited the embassy and in both occasions had been generally favourable. My passport renewal this morning(walk in) was rather smooth, straightforward and efficient than initially thought was a long day (owing to complete documentation). Got there nearly 11am, queued for approx 15mins and half an hour to complete the entire transaction - not bad for someone like me rushing to travel back home for the school run. I give all staff concerned due credit which they truly deserve Now, the processing time for the new pp will be a different story knowing it's all digital nowadays - will wait and see. Made it on the 1pm train back to the northwest, not without a hearty meal from Jollibee which is just a stone throw away - a bonus in itself! It helps indeed if we visit the website and comply what's required prior to going...simple things like not bringing mask, prepaid return envelope etc are common missed items. Suggestion: maybe more outreach events if resources permit to alleviate crowding and facilitate access to those living afar. Just my own personal view ****************************************************************** Got my new pp by post in just under 4 weeks, relatively prompt as it should be - well done! I also dropped them a non-urgent query through email on a weekend which was swiftly answered - only few offices do that and this truly is a demonstration of the Filipino's attribute of dedication to service - Mabuhay!
