Academy of Public Speakers

I joined the academy to help combat the fear of public speaking. The sessions are interesting and engaging and the academy itself has been relevant and has helped me to meet and connect with others that are also on a similar journey. Given the instructors, Andy and Brian, have walked the journey of the fear of public speaking themselves, this makes them mostly qualified to provide the necessary assistance with this troublesome albeit unsavoury challenge. My confidence in speaking publicly has improved significantly. I am glad to have found and partake of this life-changing journey with these remarkable two who are exceptionally skilful instructors, empathetic, patient, and always willing to support candidates. I would always recommend a trial, at least.

A really interactive and productive Workshop. It will really push you out of your comfort zone. I gained a lot during the sessions I attended and realised presenting is not as scary as I thought. As a member you also get the opportunity to prepare and present a presentation to the group. A worthwhile investment for sure

My name is Ian McNamara, I joined the academy around 5 or 6 months a go. Andy and Brian have been very supportive since i joined, as i am totally blind i am unable to see the timer etc however they make sure they tell me what my timings are as i am getting close to the min and max timings. They also take the time to assist me if there is something i cant access. I also love the fact that other members do not hold back on there feedback just because i cant see, i have payed to improve my speaking skills therefor it is important that i know what needs to be improved. The community is very relaxed and a safe place to learn and is really helping me to become a more confident speaker and i am really starting to believe that i could one day be a professional motivational speaker and mentor to help other people to overcome there fears.
