I can't recommend the coaching service enough. I was clouded by my own mis-judgement of my work situations, and felt very disconnected with the new normal world, after going on maternity leave for a year. Appleby provided a very structured and tailored coaching service, to help me crystallise my career goals and what my unique skill set and values that I can bring on the table. After 3 months, I walked out of the darkness with 2 job offers.

I could not rate Appleby Associates services any higher. I was recommended them by a friend after discussing with them about feeling lost in my career path, and Marcus' structured, patient, professional and compassionate approach and methods really helped focus me and make me put in the work to find out the direction I wanted to be heading. I never felt under any sort of time pressure to complete the course, and Marcus was always very accommodating of my busy schedule and changing shifts. When I first started with Appleby, I was lost in the multitude of options that trying to change one's career entirely can bring. I knew I wanted to leave my current sector, but had no idea where I really wanted to go. Now, I have a clear focus, and no longer feel paralysed by indecision. I was in a dark room, feeling completely stuck. Three years ago, I quit my previous job as a law lecturer which I had never been keen on and moved from Sao Paulo to London without speaking any English (my wife was offered a job here). I was depressed and couldnt see any path in front of me. After some months working hard under Marcus' orientation, and thanks to his invaluable help, I had a light bubble moment and the haze that was making me blind vanished. Now I know which career I am looking forward to pursuing, and I am finally focused on it. Without Marcus' help, I wouldnt have seen my own path, and would still be in that awful dark room.
