Very poor service, we had very unattentive waitresses, asked if we could have zucchini fried and if the oil was safe as one of the guest had a shellfish and nuts allergy and she said everyting is cross contaminated and how they use the same fryer for everything. we ordered starters and main, while the duck liver was good the steak tartar was with far too much tabasco that overpowered everything else. When the main arrived the risotto with scallops was some sort of bland runny rice not really nice. The fish and chips served with a broken vinegar bottles with caused the fish to be soaked, we asked for a new one as it could have been glass in it, which we recieved but was not crispy but soggy. One of the steak ordered medium, It came well done then asked another one to replace that and we got it rare, the peppercorn sauce never arrived. While having the main we asked for another bottle of wine, which arrived in the end of the dinner. We did send it back as we already finished the mains. Spend 289 pound and paid the service charged, they took off only the extra steak and fish and cheap, they should have manage that better, the dinner expirence was bad.
