Cote - Covent Garden

I visited a different location on my first trip to England over 8 years ago. I was very excited to see a location in Covent Garden, and I was very impressed. The tomato tarte and dauphinois potatoes were unreal. Our server, Dom, was very outgoing and so pleasant to talk with. Cant wait to come back!!

I have no idea what we did to offend the staff at Cte in Covent Garden, as the service was absolutely appalling. Staff appeared miserable and unfriendly. We received our starters within five minutes of ordering, did not have a food check for both starters and mains, and our server changed three times, neither of them spoke a word. Asked for the service charge to be taken off the bill, and after being paid, the waitress promptly turned on their heels and left. Terrible experience, will not be returning.

Great restaurant in a great part of London. Service really swift and pleasant which makes everything so much better.
