Opera Tavern

Really nice place for lunch or a pre-theatre meal. We just had a selection of bar snacks (croquettes, padron peppers, patatas bravas and some chorizo) for our lunch, and a bottle of wine, but the choice of food is much more varied than that. It was relatively quiet, but that was perfect for us. Service was relaxed.

the food was tasty, and service was warm. the ceviche wasnt amazing it was more like a carpaccio in flavour. however i highly recommend the brocoli dish, i couldve eaten five of them i think the price was slightly expensive, but thats central london for you!

Flavours and preparation are excellent. Service from Gabriela definitely adds to the experience. Let her pick your tapas.

We came here for dinner on a Saturday before an evening performance. We loved the atmosphere and found the staff very welcoming. The food was nice enough but nothing really stood out as spectacular except the fried courgettes. Its obvious the food is fresh and it was all prepared beautifully. The wine we had was delicious and fairly reasonable at 19 for a bottle. Nothing was bad, it just didnt blow us away like we were hoping.
