Worse bank to open an ISA account, mislead advert of ISA rate. One month and my account is not open and Ill miss the fiscal year deadline. Customer is treat over the phone as nothing. Attendants on the phone simply place call on hold for as long as 25 mins to get rid of my calls. I went to the branch and I was simply told that they dont provide customer support face-to-face. Be aware!

Visited to use the co working lounge advertised as a benefit for virgin customers. Very poor. A few chairs scattered at the back of a normal branch. No coffee no toilets not desks or table to work at

First time I visited after Covid. I was really excited visiting the lounge again and popping in for a complimentary cup of coffee. To my dismay the lounge is now partly turned into a bank and provides no self service coffees and teas anymore, as the lady that greeted me as I arrived was very clear that a hot drink was totally off limits as there were no staff to serve me. As this was my first visit since Covid and I had not been informed that the lounge was not really in use, I felt it would not have harmed the staff member to simply allow me a hot drink on this occasion, considering they were not busy rather than taking the view she did. I was also told that downstairs was no longer for virgin customers and instead had been turned into a office and I was told I could not use the toilet. I understand the changes have emerged since the merger. All in all I left very disappointed as the lounge had always been a substantial perk to banking with Virgin. It is a shame they cannot restore the complimentary beverages considering the machine is still very much still on display in the lounge.
