Every month when we need a prescription repeat for my daughter there is always an issue. It's as if they don't want to give you medicine. Its like pulling teeth.... They have a bunch of receptionists that are good for NOTHING. I'm stilling waiting to see the outcome of them "misplacing" my daughters immunization records, which is a HUGE issue for me as she had some done in Canada and some done in Germany and to replace them will be next to impossible!!!!

I went in to ask for my medical records for specific purposes. I didnt want to say what it was for because its personal so I showed the receptionist my phone, but she loudly stated why I need my medical records and made me confirm my full personal details and she was just loud. Training needs to be given, she could instead ask the last four digits of my mobile number instead of saying it out loud, first line of address. All I can think of in that moment was embarrassment. The other patients were looking at me and it made me really uncomfortable. When you enter the surgery the desk says step behind the line to respect patient confidentiality and yet they say everything so loud. I can sit there and hear everything they say.

My Mother came to visit and unfortunately became unwell. I phoned the doctor and spoke to the Business Manager who registered my mother as a temporary patient. We completed a series of questions and she was booked promptly to see a GP on the same day. The GP we saw was so lovely, she examined my mum and treated her with kindness. All round excellent service received from Holmwood Corner. Thank you so much for the kindness you showed my mother.
