This is the third time I have hired James for a 1-2-1 landscape photography session. He is the consummate professional every step of the way. His ability to teach composition and storytelling is excellent for all skill levels. Patience, flexibility, passion and expertise really set the tone for our recent photography lesson on the Norfolk Coast. I am thrilled with my landscape shots from Cromer Pier! Thank you James

Spent the day doing a 5 hr workshop on street photography. AMAZING! James knows fantastic locations. Hes very patient and explains things clearly and in depth when needed. He adapted the day to my skill level and focused on my request for training in specific areas. I was very pleased with the shots taken and will book again in the future.

Last week, I attended a day long workshop with James Abbott Photography in the Peak District. It was informative, inspiring and above all good fun. I would highly recommend James to anyone, whether professional or amateur who is looking to sharpen their skills in landscape photography. He has expert technical knowledge but he imparts the information with such ease and clarity. Truly an excellent experience!

In June 2019 I did a Lightroom CC One to One home workshop with James. Although I had been using Lightroom for a couple of years he helped me so much to develop a much better workflow and with his help I learnt how to properly use the programme. I had developed a lot of bad habits! His knowledge is incredible not just on Lightroom but on photography he has a wealth of experience from his background in the industry. His instructions were alway clear and precise. He was enormously supportive in helping me learn to what for me is a difficult subject as a photographer I would rather just take the snaps but with James' help from the workshop my photography has improved as a result of his workshop and I enjoy the processing of my images much more.I learnt valuable skills that you cannot get from a book. Booking a workshop was also very easy, his email communications were good with him setting homework before the day. We also had a conversation about what I wanted to cover and achieve during my One to One. This led to me getting so much more from his time. I recommend to anyone a workshop with James' you will not regret it!
