Both my children have attended St Ives nursery from when they were 10 months old. The staff are fantastic. They genuinely care about the children and I feel so safe and happy to leave my children in their care. The nursery is clean and tidy and very well resourced. I highly recommend

My daughter went to St Ives nursery from about 11 months up to 4.5 years. I can't praise them enough, management and staff were extremely knowledgeable, had passion and it was obvious they cared for the children. The food was home cooked and seasonal, they catered for any dietary requirements and the few times I found myself in the premises during lunch/dinner times, it smelled delicious. Above all, my daughter loved going there, she bonded with the people who looked after her and I know she was entertained and educated to a high standard. Definitely recommend!

377 a month is listed on their fees page for my 3 year old for 15 hours free which would be 2 days a week which is ridiculous that we received on their fees enquiry email as i don't even spend that much on a months food shop for 4 of us and when questioned and queried they didn't have the courtesy to respond to my wife's emails hourly rate is 10 here for extra hours whereas a nursery 0.5 miles away charge 6 a hour and food also only 0.70p per funded hour so in total quoted from them it will cost my son 125.64 for 2 days a week total for the month including half terms for a year. Food is 38 a month at his new nursery and just as good quality.I had to take my son and daughter out in march due to losing my job which was a shame but at the same time a relief as every week my son would come home with big bruised teeth marks on his arm from another child and he was bitten in total 4 or 5 times in a space of a few weeks and filled out endless incident forms and one was so deep he needed to see a doctor which i have pictures and also every week my children brought home an illness and they let ill kids attend (pre covid19 pandemic) as me and my son caught hand foot and mouth in november 2018 which was going around here at the time which was horrendous and also my son ended up in hospital with pneumonia twice and was seriously ill in hinchinbrooke, gone downhill since kimberley went on maternity leave but as a company in these hard times they need to be much more competitive and put children first over money and respond to emails. The stars im giving are for the members looking after my son and daughter from a very young age when they first attended and for being so caring as key workers, ive Taken 2 stars for no email response/fees and for the fact that since my children have left they haven't been ill for 8 months since march. Id still recommend any parent current or new to gain quotes from the other nurseries in st ives. Edited to remove staff names as requested and some figures as we may have been sent wrong forms not sure as i don't have access anymore but doesn't matter anyway and because of no reply to the original email asking about the fees this is what we calculated it to be as we never received a response to the fees we was sent when querying which is fine these things happen and you have apologised but we took this personally as you ignoring our reply whilst other nurseries where very forthcoming. The biting issue where addressed by my wife as she asked me to stay out of it as i was beyond angry and was going to report it to the appropriate authorities to safeguard my son. Regarding the figures i posted the company (not nursery direct) asking for 50 non refundable deposit per child non funded and 300 for 7 sessions or more per child (my son would get it back) is ridiculous and no one has that money upfront in a pandemic as I'd be out of pocket by 300 for potentially 6 weeks and then Id have needed 350 for my daughter that isn't refundable for the deposit and holding deposit until she leaves so id be out of pocket 650 before i began and would only get 300 back where as i didn't have to pay a penny at their new nursery and the company as a whole (not the nursery as it isn't their fault its the overheads) and only offer funded afternoon sessions as per their fees and funding policy for 15 hours places from a monday and a friday from 12:30pm until 6pm which isn't suitable for us anyway therefore my original figures are pretty spot on once you count ontop the extra fees per days id have needed. (also kim was still there as we was emailing her on 20th march about coronavirus fees as we was both keyworkers) we have moved on now to a different nursery anyway so no need for anymore communication and wish everyone all the best with no bad intentions or any bad personal feelings towards staff just the company itself and its just a honest review of our experience at the nursery and we have no reason or intentions to discuss anything further going forward at this time and everyones experiences are unique and different.
