Avoid! We used them for our local house purchase and they were arrogant, unresponsive, and incompetent. They failed to identify a very important land border on her property that has caused us grief for years. For years their sign above the shop was missing the letter e, that tells you a lot about the place. Theyve since renamed themselves Beacon Wealth Management and Im not sure if its under the same owner, but the sign still looks pretty grotty.

We have now waited over 3 years for a reply from these incompetents. They carried out our sale and purchase in 2014. To date we have never received as much as a completion statement let alone the fact that we do not even know where our Deeds to our house are. We paid cash for our property and as far as we can establish, we do not even know if we are the legal owners. We are giving them until lunch time tomorrow to reply and then we will put the case in the hands of the ombudsman.

Completely ruined our house purchase. They ignored emails for weeks at a time. Had to badger them constantly to do the work they'd been paid for.

The Probate department is exceptional. Fast, knowledgeable and beyond efficient! Really makes the difference for clients. Did a sterling job with my daughters house purchase..

Absolutely useless. Pity I can't give them no stars! A month after being appointed to act in the sale of our property, they'd done absolutely NOTHING. In the absence of any updates I had to ring THEM up to find that out. No one there seems able or willing to pick up a telephone to speak to their clients or their counterpart Solicitors. No one appears to be bothered about their reputation either. Pay peanuts ... get monkeys. Fortunately, I've ditched them and found another company far more professional and trustworthy. Don't waste your time or money using 'Quality' (yeah like!) Winters.
