Food and service is extremely great. The person who spoiled my Mother's Day meal last night was the manager Iman. This manager was extremely horrible to his staff swearing and shouting. Extremely abusive to the point that even the customer, we started to feel uncomfortable. He only stopped his abusive behaviour when one man who was sitting with his wife stood up and approached Iman to stop his abusive behaviour. Sad that the manager spoiled our night out.

First thing we noticed when we arrived was a paper sign on the door saying Cash Only which meant a trip back down to the nearest cashpoint. When we entered we noticed a gentleman in the waiting area who was clearly drunk ( it transpired he was the owner ) We where seated next to a large table consisting of 8 people who were clearly experiencing a problem with both the food they had recieved and the service. Drinks were ordered by us along with poppadoms which came reasonably quickly and our main meals were ordered. Meanwhile things had deteriorated with the large table of 8 who where now becoming quite vocal about their problems with their food and service and also the behaviour of the drunk owner was becoming very loud and agitated. We had now been waiting around 1 hour but still no food had arrived so we decided to just pay for our drinks and poppadoms and leave. We did feel sorry for the waiting staff who seemed bewildered and out of their depth. The situation with the table of 8 was still ongoing when we left. Unfortunately we will not be revisiting this restaurant again and would certainly not recommend a visit !!

A very unhappy place, do not support this CASH ONLY business, they were too busy catering for strangely oversized bag fulls of take away orders to have time to even take the screw top off a bottle of wine, let alone pour it or even smile, we and many other tables waited over 2 hours for our meals, it was a very odd and uncomfortable experience, my meal was inedible, I politely pointed out my lamb was hard, dry and inedible when it finally came, I simply asked 'if they didn't mind' for it to be removed from my bill. I felt sorry for the young, unhappy staff who made it clear they wanted to be anywhere else but serving us, they were hovered over by a menacing manager/owner, he was unnecessarily rude to us as we left when we had been understanding and polite to the staff throughout the long evening. There are too many other nice Asian restaurants in St Ives with a nicer atmosphere and excellent food to support than whatever is going on in this one!
