For my birthday my mum booked me into a meditation and restorative yoga workshop. I had no idea where I was was or what the plans were for the day...suffice to say from start to finish it was brilliant, from excellent hosting to expert and knowledgeable practice. My daughter, Becky, and I spent a lovely day today at The Lodge learning all about flowers, how to source them, how to look after them and how to arrange them (we took home a beautiful table arrangement on a vase, a hand tied bouquet in a ribboned box and a corsage). Thank you so much Maria for a really enjoyable day of flowers, chatter and a delicious lunch. We can highly recommend The Lodge Flower and Craft School to anyone who wants to learn to arrange flowers or improve their flower arranging skills!!

I recently attended the day workshop, 'Planning and preparing flowers for a wedding'. It was fabulous, I learnt such a lot on the practical pre-planning things to be aware of (which can also be applied to flower arranging in general), and Maria has such a wealth of knowledge and experience, that I came away with loads of new ideas, skills to utilise for flower displays etc, a lovely selection of arrangements to take home, and to cap it all, a delicious lunch and yummy cake at tea break. Value for money.
