Broadway Surgery

I received a letter from my dentist on 08/04/2016 to advise that they have cancelled by appointment for 25/04/2016 ay 8am and to call the dentist for a new appointment. On calling the dentist 11/04/2016 it seems that my dentist is on maternity leave. Her replacement did not show up, they have also had two dentists leave. My replacement dental appointment is now booked for 17/06/2016 at 8am. My last dental appointment was 23/10/2015. So the practise can give me a 2 week notice for them to cancel my appointment and two months to replace my appointment!!!

Do not use this surgery if you have an alternative. Staff are friendly and helpful, but in the 2 years since moving to this area, my children and myself have had countless appointments cancelled. The final straw was just now, another cancellation for an appointment to fix a broken filling. My son is in a lot of discomfort. I've had enough :-(

Attended surgery for an acute tooth ache & was told i needed a filling-no appointments could be made for 2 weeks! Had to pay 51.80 up front to make sure I make the appointment-totally disgusted! What sort of a service is that? Are dental practices governed attall as this seems to be an unacceptable situation. I've now had toothache for 3 weeks - what do we pay national insurance for?
