Logs where oak & were delivered as promised. Will certainly be using Steve Pote again. They are burning really well and being oak last a long time.

We've had 2 loads from Steve Pote Logs, should have been warned the first time when the wood took 6 months to dry out properly, second time it was mixed hard and soft wood. Overpriced too

Website descriptions are unclear - a full load of logs turned out to be unseasoned soft wood which arrived soaking wet (douglas fir). It's not advised to burn in a wood burner with a flued chimney and it's totally useless on an open fire. I called to explain that the logs are not fit for purpose and asked for a refund but all I got was verbal abuse.
