A UK veteran specific housing group to specially help homeless, needy ex armed forces back into accomodation. I registered and was immediately told 'don't hold your breath'. We're short of houses and accomodation! A year later they phoned me up to ask did I want to stay on the register. Stating the same. So why advertise help, support and housing if you can't give it? Yet another false promise from another UK veterans charity group. It's outrageous these charities get government money and can't deliver to those that need help. I might add there are huge nationwide waiting lists on the council housing, social housing waiting lists, current, ex forces, veterans or not.
