Have been waiting on keys cut for 3 weeks. Not a standard key, took my money and was initially told they would need to order it in and it would be ready in a couple of days and they would call when ready. No call received so my aunt went in to check. Was advised that the keys had arrived but they didn't have the correct tool to cut them. When we queried why they didn't order this at the same time, he simply said "well I didn't know, I'm no expert love"! We were told they would order the part and they would call us in a few more days once they had it. Haven't received a single call from them two weeks later (and after calling into the store two more times) they still don't have the correct part to cut the key. Went back to the store for a 4th and final time today, still not able to cut it. When queried why it is taking so long for the part to arrive and why they seem incapable of picking up the phone to contact me, the lad started to get irrate. Refused to deal with my queries, refused refund and told us he wasn't serving me because my aunt had told a lady behind us in the queue about our bad experience. Absolutely appalling customer service. Appreciate these are young lads working here but timpsons is a big, reputable company that should be teaching these lads customer service skills and how to deal with dissatisfied customers. Had they have just had the decency to pick up the phone and just keep me informed to save multiple trips back and forth it would have saved a whole lot of agro. Won't be using timpsons again after this experience.
