Had a walk through st Helens centre last night. Walked past the palace balti. And it was rammed. No seats available. So we ended up going to the Tandoori Ghar. It was empty. Only us in their the whole time. The host was a lovely fella. Poppadoms to start. Nice. Onion bhajis was ok. Not the round balls. But flat ones. The wife got chicken shashlick more like chicken tikka. Didn't come sizzling. Small pieces of chicken. Small curry sauce. I got beef jalfrazy with keema rice. With a garlic and coriander naan. It was the smallest meal I've ever had. Could of ate it in 4 spoonfuls. And the naan was not cooked. It was doughy. They don't have any takeaway menu. He just gave me his phone number. Witch was strange. Only positive was they do beef. So if your hungry. DON'T GO HERE.
