Avoid at all costs. They sell faulty cars and refuse to honour the Consumer Rights Act. Disgraceful company. I purchased a car from them before they wound up their ladt company before becoming HJL. How thses charlatans ate still in business I do not know

a bit of a mixed review. purchased a car from HJL on/around december 4th. day 1 the car got dropped off with a flat tyre on the drivers front side. also was running on fumes and i was worried if i could even get it to the petrol station in time. (the diesel being low is not a concern as most places will deliver a car with barely anything in) 23rd of january i got into the car and the battery had gone completely flat. had to call out my breakdown 7 times over the christmas period. i tried to call HJL but got no response i understand this may have been due to christmas holiday hours etc. so i replaced the battery myself which cost me 160. the heating has been faulty from day 1 sometimes i start work at 4:30 am so ill be getting into the car at 3-4am and i have to bring towels and tissue to wipe down windows due to the heating not performing correctly. takes me the best part of half an hour to get the car warm. very shakey cold starts. the clutch sticks between 2&3rd gear. i tried to call multiple times over the christmas period and beginning of january. left voicemails with my number due to being busy at work and not being able to call throughout the day hoping i would get a call back. never received anything. very disheartened. HJL were very lovely when i first gave them a call but it just seems as though i am now being ignored. i do not have time to call back every day or 30 times a day as some people do, so i was really relying on their office to give me a call. february 9th & i still havent heard a thing back.

Don't go near them! Never received paperwork for the car not had the logbook yet had the car since November! I've rang on many occasions they say they will sort it but haven't. So I have no idea who the legal owner of the car is! Trading standards are now getting involved.

Big shout out to Jacob from HJL motors ,I started the process on Tuesday, and I'm expecting delivery of a new car with alloys changed to the colour of my choice, full service, and Mot by Friday Great communication throughout Thankyou

I ignored the negitive reviews and still went a bought a car from yous. 2 1/2 weeks later of getting ingored after reading my messages then finaly getting through on phone a week ago to the reply yous would get back to me asap on a date to fix the wheels and ztill waiting now carnt even get through on phone after leaving messages still more respone dont no how its passed its mot with the faults its gotbutton missing seatbelt all smashedwindscreen wash just falls out bottom of thecar when ya fill it ip. Quick enough to take your money tho
