Fantastic peaceful location with farm animals, pheasants and other birds a plenty Perfect for walks in the fields, woods and around the lake. Lots of entertaining hidden things in the woods, lovely pool and great space to kick a ball, play some family cricket or go fishing

We've just come back after 3 Feb half term nights in the larger holiday home. We shared with some friends and had ample room plus all the amenities we could want and access to the pool for private use at alternating times of day with the other holiday property. The area is very rural with roads to test your mettle and there is nothing in walking distance. That said, nothing is far and nearby Torrington is a charming market town with lots of little shops plus a big supermarket. We took trips out to Bideford and Westward Ho! And despite the awful weather, had a lovely couple of days exploring with the kids. Devon is beautiful and this property offers a great base to discover the local area.
