We paid a very significant amount of money for Ardern Hodges floors in 2015 and when some repairs were needed in 2021 we entered into a contract with Ardern Hodges for the repairs (sanding down and recoating areas that were damaged after only five years). They dropped us a week before the works, blaming Brexit for no longer having qualified staff, and recommended a company that then took over the recoating and proceeded to destroy the floors making the repaired areas look completely different in texture and appearance than the original areas. Ardern Hodges never responded to our emails and left us with no choice but legal action. Avoid this supplier at any cost. They used to be great, but got rich with new customers and then arrogant about customer service. And they are about as expensive as they come.
