All I have heard for the last four weeks is this.my back hurts.owwwwwwwww..I cant move.dont touch me. And then, again and again,.my back hurtsIm in agony. My advice on multiple occasions was as follows: Why dont you call Amandahave you called Amanda?.are you booked in with Amanda yet?do you know that Amanda comes to the house? So, it was my absolute pleasure to hear recently that Amanda had been booked in to come and see my partner Jonathan! Thank goodness. I have no idea what Amanda did in the hour that she spent with Jonathan but here is what I do know; I have not heard one word about Jonathans back since, and the complaining has completely evaporated. Jonathans comment when Amanda left and I asked him how his session had gone was Amanda really knows her stuff. I am really really grateful to Amanda for saving my ears and for quite obviously working wonders on my partners back. I would always recommend Amanda for any aches and pains that need resolving. Thank you. Hannah Copeland

Amanda Lord from Ad Alta sports therapy regularly saves my life. She works her magic in ways other massage therapists never have. I have a long-term condition that causes me a lot of pain and Amanda's thorough knowledge of the workings of the body and her intuitive understanding ensures my pain levels are kept to a minimum. I know working with Amanda is a long-term investment but the alternative doesn't bear thinking about. I highly recommend Amanda if you are struggling with pain or mobility issues, just give her a call and see how she can help you. Many thanks Amanda. Fiona Ross The Subconscious Mind Coach

My son had suffered with knee pain on and off for a couple of years and the doctor wasn't able to find any underlying cause. He went to Amanda at Ad Alta who not only helped relieve the pain, but also diagnosed the underlying cause (muscle tightness) and gave him a set of simple, realistic exercises to do at home. He is continuing to see Amanda periodically to keep the pain at bay. I thoroughly recommend Ad Alta.

Amanda did a great job with my elbow that other therapist had struggled with, her ability to diagnose problems and techniques to solve them are unique.

Im writing in praise of Amanda Lord at Ad Alta. Actually, I think she should be renamed Amanda Oh My God! I have visited quite a few osteopaths, masseurs and sports therapists over my time but none have been as thorough and effective as Amanda. The first ten minutes was taken up with various assessments of my health and mobility. I thought I was in pretty good shape and only wanted a massage of my calf muscles and to see if we could do something about that niggling neck and shoulder pain that we all suffer from. After the assessment Amanda told me that things were quite serious! She explained all the problems in both technical and laymans terms and then set to work. This was no gentle, relaxing massage but serious sports therapy. At the end of it I was exhausted but felt completely relaxed and overjoyed with the newfound mobility. I wont go into the full detail suffice to say that I ran a personal best at the Parkrun 5K this Saturday knocking over two and half minutes off last weeks time and Im sure theres plenty more in the tank. Two weeks later back for more. This time she worked on the fascia in my legs (the sheaths around the strands of muscles) and this was pure delight! Another PB followed. A month later and my running is coming on well and starting to get tension on the ham strings. Another great session with some cool down stretches to avoid this happening again. I have now gone on to smash my previous PB by four minutes! Amanda has helped several of my friends with great results from all of them. She has helped two of my friends who are either stuck in wheelchairs or heavily dependent on crutches feel much more mobile, another runner with her problem calves and my best friend with a detached tendon in his knee (eased the pain and referred to hospital. Ouch!) If you are serious about increasing your mobility, flexibility and speed then you really do need to visit Amanda. I will be recommending her to all my friends and colleagues. Thanks Amanda, Ill be back soon! Best wishes, Dave Goodman
