Got a heat pump installed and got cover through their stand by me scheme. I went for the platinum scheme which covers non daikin parts after the initial inspection. The problem is I cant get them to come out to undertake the initial inspection and i bought cover in November. therefore I'm paying for a service which they have not provided as these parts are not covered until this inspection is completed. their policy is not to do services in the winter. therefore they have two conflicting policies that no one will help address. Made three attempts to resolve but no helpful response so far.

Please think carefully before purchasing a Daikin product in the UK. As a construction professional, I simply can't recommend theirproducts currently. Despitetheir excellent reputation in Japan, their UK customer service is in my experience completelywoeful and should be acompleteembarrassmentto both the global Daikin brand and the widerrenewables industry. We had a faulty product, a brand-new heat pump that doesn't defrost (suggesting a factory QC issues). After a lengthy wait on the phone, we raised a "high-priority" call informing Daikin that our clients were without heat and had vulnerable persons in the property. Despitechasing them it took an incredible 10 days before an engineer addended. The "Daikin Engineer" we were promised was in fact a sub-contracted local plumber! The operative, although pleasant and helpful carriedno Daikin spares and wasn't provided with replacement parts for the reported fault. They were instructed just to report back to Daikin before a repair could even be ordered, despite the fault being clear-cut. I won't hold my breath on a repair or replacement happening within weeks of the "high-priority" call being raised. I will of course update this review with the final time taken. Clearly, for something as vital as home heating, this is in no way acceptable. I fear these experiences may also put the public off heat pumps in general, which is a great shame. MDHiroyasu Ishikawa and Deputy MD Mark Dyer clearly have a lot of work to do!

Absolutely disgusting company. Me my wife and 3 children. One with a disability have been left with no hot water or heating for nearly a week now. Ive called them everyday since Ive been without heating and hot water and basically said Im in a que with no time or date when they will be in contact. Its below freezing point outside and this is how they treat their customers. MY CHILDREN ARE LEFT COLD AND WITHOUT BATHS. Stay away from this company they should be closed down!!!!

Daikin I the worse company I have ever dealt with . Their product is awful and we have been trying to get an engineer since 23/12 . I would never recommend a Daikin unit
