James captured our special day on 02/04/2023, he made sure we got all of our requested shots as well as any more we came up with on the day, he was super friendly throughout the entire day and was very easy to get on with and talk to. James is currently working on our full wedding album but did send us a small preview album shortly after our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with how the photos have turned out. For anybody considering James for their own weddings or other special occasions we would recommend him with 100% confidence, we really appreciated him being there to capture our day. James was fantastic as our wedding photographer. He kindly agreed to photograph our COVID wedding, in addition to our reception the following year. We had a few unusual requests for photos like having photos taken in Sutton Park, our dogs being involved in our wedding and taking photos of an Easter egg hunt - which he happily did! He listened to us and took photos that really mattered to us instead of generic shots. We got some lovely photos of everyone having a great time at both events. He took lots of natural photos of all our guests and gave us gentle direction for our group and couple photos. Being in front of the camera doesnt come naturally to me at all, but he was really friendly and made the whole experience really positive. He even scouted out fields for couple photos and took us a few minutes from our venue to get great backgrounds too! If we did both events again, we would hire James without a second thought. (Photo examples only include us, as we didnt ask guests but he got lovely photos of everyone else too!)

What to sayJames is an amazing professional that really made us feel comfortable for our whole experience - from the first meeting to the big day and aftercare. We couldnt have asked for better photos to capture our day, and he just blended into the background throughout, really getting all the natural shots we wanted. James was an absolute dream on our wedding day, he was unobtrusive and you barely knew he was there but the pictures were so beautiful. James was great in listening to what we wanted, specific shots we had in mind but also provided a lot we didn't think up that are easily my favourites. The editing process for the album was really simple and made fun to do, the slide shows he provided were so charming and our album is gorgeous, really something to keep for longevity. Can't recommend him highly enough!

Choosing James as our wedding photographer was the best decision! All our photos were absolutely beautiful and he did an amazing job at capturing our special day. James is so talented and professional, we would recommend him to anybody needing a photographer! Thank you James!
