Fizzy Stepney Green

Further to my own issues with return of deposit while a resident, I would like to highlight a recent incident regarding the attack of a residents dog by a non-residents dog on Fizzy grounds, and the lack of support received. The Stepney community of dog lovers are absolutely devastated on behalf of the bereaved owner. Its outrageous to market yourself as pet friendly while allowing these tragedies to occur.

Fizzy has a mainly positive rent experience. The service is impressive and slick. Repairs are usually fixed within days (not weeks). Having an on site property manager is great - Laura is particularly helpful. Fizzy claims to be pro-tenant and for the most part is, but where Fizzy lets its self down is in two areas: 1) Yearly rent increases at RPI. It is common consensus that RPI is a flawed statistic. The appropriate index to use is now CPI (most similar housing associations do this now). But guess what? RPI > CPI... 2) Fizzy seems to abdicate all responsibility for issues that are not directly within Fizzys control. An example of this is a recent heating/hot water outage where all tenants were asked to individually complain, when Fizzy has a corporate relationship with the heating company. Lots of other examples of this type of situation (e.g. other tenants throwing cigarettes onto our patio). As I said overall this a good service. But fix the above and Fizzy will be even better.
