We stayed in a glamping pod for 1 night and the view was beautiful. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The glamping pod was very damp, definitely room for improvement, although it was cosy and cute. The BBQ food let the venue down. Food was cold and clearly cooked way before service, there was no heat to the burger at all. Shower and toilet facilities were clean and tidy but could do with better drainage. Walkability: Amazing walks across the moors

Stunning location, the photos really don't do it justice! Cabins are clean and spacious, heating situations was a bit strange (hence 4 stars) won't be much of a problem for spring/summer/autumn but a consideration for winter. Small walk to toilet and shower cubicles. This is glamping so the toilet and shower facilities are as you would expect. The real star of this place was unexpected, the food! We had the beef burger and Cajun chicken burger, exceptional. One of the best burgers I've ever had, really can't recommend it enough. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Booked a hobbit hut as a family of 4 plus 2 dogs. Having seen the size of our dogs, the very friendly staff, kindly moved us to a larger cabin. The accomodation was clean and well kept. The location was peaceful and scenic with lovely moorland walks. There is a long moorland track to drive along to get to the hotel, which is extremely bumpy and would be a challenge in certain vehicles - There were sheep and lambs wandering around everywhere, this only added to the adventure for the kids!
