As with many places in Cornwall, getting there requires a degree of technical driving to navigate the roads that are designed for two thin people to pass each other rather than cars. However, once you are there there is good parking and a park for small children along with the obvious water feature providing a pleasant walk to build an appetite. The cafe provides a few tables inside as well as out and prices are reasonable. We missed the 3pm cut off for cooked food but the cakes and coffee were fresh and tasty.
