Ive always had a good experience of this surgery over the years and thought they all do a very good job in what must be trying circumstances. Just had a blood test with the lovely nurse Robbie who made something I find quite painful (most nurses find it quite hard to find my veins usually) very quick and pain free. Cheers

Chairs in the waiting area are filthy - covered in dirt & grime. Had a blood test and clinician didnt even clean the area before taking blood!

Absolute shambles of a surgery, called this morning in MH crisis, near to taking my life and was told I will be called back at 10:40. I had explained that I am in crisis and thank the receptionist for her help. 13:00 still no phone call so I called up and was told the Dr called twice but got no answer. My phone has not rung from this practice. Having explained that I was in crisis and with a history of self harm and suicide attempts I would have thought that if you get no answer you would send the police or an ambulance to make sure i hadn't done something. But no, nothing, only told that the Dr called and was made to feel like it was my fault that a. They called the wrong number or b. They didn't call my number at all. Where is their duty of care, where is their compassion? If you value your wellbeing I'd suggest going to a different surgery because this place from my many experiences really and truly doesn't care. *Update* After the previous phone call I had to (with my Mrs) go to the surgery to ask for help and the elderly lady with glasses (the one everyone has complained about) on the reception desk was extremely rude from the very first moment. She asked a question and then tried to shout me down whilst answering, lied about the Practice Manager being in the building and generally made my condition worse. After shouting the place down (something that I am beating myself up over because I was put in a situation where i was pushed into a reaction)I was able to see a Dr, who was actually very good, but then came the Practice Manager who is just as bad as the elderly receptionist. She was not at interested in taking my complaint and was very resistant in accepting suggestions for how to help assist someone who may be in mental distress. To top it all off whilst the Dr has signed me off no sick note has yet been sent which is now causing me even more anxiety and distress as I need to get it over to me employers.
