We stay in a lot of holiday cottages and this has been one of our favourites - stylish interior, a peaceful and quiet location, comfortable bed, beautiful gardens and everything you could need for your stay. We stayed in April when the weather was changeable and found the cottage very cosy on the colder days when the weather was too chilly for the garden.

The cottage sadly has quite a bad damp problem which made us both feel unwell during our stay. We contacted Boutique Retreats with our concerns but it did not reply. It then deleted comments about the issue when we followed up on social media. We did not get any refund whatsoever from Boutique Retreats following our stay at the property as stated in the false comment added by the cottage below this review. That is improper business practice. We really do not recommend a stay here, though the surrounding area is nice.
