Fantastic experience this morning, I have scratched my lenses and just wanted to order a new pair of the same glasses. I ordered them a while ago but they went above and beyond found the pair I ordered and have re-ordered them for me to be made! No fuss nothing to much and an excellent polite and friendly service! Very reasonable price too. Will always come to gill eyecare

I've been using this opticians for years and I wouldn't go anywhere else, staff are lovely and the service is just amazing every time I go in there. They always take the time to answer your questions and their so friendly. I get my contact lens on direct debit. I would recommend Gill Eyecare to anyone. Would give 10 stars if I could.

Excellent opticians my prescription is very high but the glasses I collected today from Gills are wonderful they are not just about selling glasses but giving that personal touch

I had broken my Guess frames......straight across the bridge and no amount of sellotape, pritt stick or plasters were keeping these together ! I rang Gill's not knowing what they could do and popped into see them at 2pm. What relevance is the time I hear you ask.......well by 2.20pm I was walking out with a pair of Celine's! They found glasses to fit my lenses......popped them in and hey presto, I could see again! I was expecting new lenses and everything but no......to keep the cost down it was simply finding the right frame and popping the old lenses in! So happy with how quick and inexpensive it was. None of the big people wanted to help me, so it just goes to show that those family businesses are still the best for the personal touch!

My daughter has her regular eye checks here and the optician is brilliant. Very professional, calm, reassuring and great with children. He explains everything as he goes along and has a lovely manner. Would highly recommend.
